Illuminating Health. Together.
Our Mission
SynapseDx will identify health conditions years before current methods by using advanced data integration and AI methods to detect and amplify weak but crucial health signals in data that’s already being collected.
Our Vision
We will help create a world where no one ever again hears :
"If only we'd caught this sooner."
We're working to improve healthcare through advanced AI and comprehensive data integration. Our approach, Compass, is designed to detect health conditions earlier than current methods, aiming to improve patient outcomes and contribute to the field of early diagnosis.
SynapseDx's mission is deeply rooted in the story of Jennifer Thompson Isaac, the late wife of our founder. In July 2019, Jennifer received a stage 4 cancer diagnosis that came as a shock to her and her family. Despite having experienced various seemingly unrelated symptoms over several years, the underlying condition went undetected until it was too late for effective treatment. Jennifer's medical journey involved multiple clinics, seven different types of health complaints, and 13 different healthcare providers.
No healthcare provider ever had a complete understanding of Jennifer’s health.
We recognize the impact that early detection can have on patients, families, and the healthcare ecosystem. This drives our efforts to develop tools that identify important health signals in data that's already being collected.
Our core product - Nexus - is a health intelligence platform. It analyzes both individual and population-level trends to identify risk factors and enhance diagnostic signals.
Our focus is on enhancing, not replacing, the human element in healthcare. The Compass approach combines AI insights with human expertise, aiming to bridge technology and medical practice. We seek to provide healthcare providers with data-driven insights while supporting the value of clinical intuition and patient-centered care.
It’s our goal to build technologies to support a future where health conditions are identified early enough to make a difference.
We invite you to join us as we work towards better health, together.
